I'm a member of the Online Amateur Radio Community, active on Discord. I'm completed my Full licence training with them and the community is really friendly and supportive.
I've just been added to the training team and will be assisting on Foundation and Intermediate courses in 2025.
I'm currently a member of the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB)
I bought the Foundation Licence Manual from RSGB but didn't actually need it. However, I purchased the Intermediate Licence Manual and found it to be a valuable training tool. Since booking my intermediate exam, which I passed (17/10/24), I also ordered the Full manual and enrolled on the full training course with OARC. Week 2 was a 2-hour session, but week 3 is moving onto circuits and the like, my least-knowledge area! Luckily I got through the exam first time on 29/11/24!
