My main radio is a Yaesu FTM-500D, and I have two hotspots, one for DMR and one for YSF.
I have a collection of handhelds also. I've fitted BNC connectors onto the units I use mobile.
In the car I have 3D-printed a Klickfast dock and also klickfast buttons on my mobile-use HTs (D878 and both Yaesus) so I can drop them safely into a dock on the dashboard.
I have a magmount dual band antenna for the car as it's not mine to fix anything to permanently!

I'm currently a member of the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB)

Amateur Radio Full Licence Manual

I bought the Foundation Licence Manual from RSGB but didn't actually need it. However, I purchased the Intermediate Licence Manual and found it to  be a valuable training tool. Since booking my intermediate exam, which I passed (17/10/24), I also ordered the Full manual and enrolled on the full training course with OARC. I got through the exam first time on 29/11/24!
